Many thanks to Inspire Me contributor Val, who has sent us some fabulous traditional card designs using papers from our elegant Metallic and Vintage Pastels Collections
...and then adding her own fabulous 3D icons and 'blind' emboss effects.

All designs are made on 150mm sq folded card. The 'blind' embossing details were created by gently scouring the lines on the reverse of the card using rulers and templates.

Poinsettia - features Cotton White with Fine Line Finish card base and Strawberry Red flowers.

Peaceful Dove design - features Powder Blue with Fine Line Finish card base

Congratulations flower - features the beautiful crisp and translucent Sheer Silver paper, mounted onto Candy Pink card base

The folded card featured in both designs is White Gold Dust, embroidery embossed.

The Christmas tree, and caption were printed onto Shimmer Silver card, and then mounted onto a White Gold Dust, embroidery embossed folded card using small sticky pads. We’ve also used the same design on a ‘Strawberry Red’ silkweave embossed’ card but the design looks equally stunning on our ‘Bright Red’ soft touch folded card from the Innovations Collection.

The Christmas star design uses a pink insert to the design, made from Fuchsia Pearl embroidery embossed card, which beautifully compliments the White Gold Dust folded card.

Many thanks to Lauren - who has sent us samples of her stunning 'designer look' wedding invites.
Lauren wanted a small but contemporary touch of black added to her dress and stationery, to give her traditional wedding a twist.

Lauren chose our 150mm sq Black Pearl Folded Cards and had the caption foil blocked in white with the help of a local printer.

She then digitally printed her RSVP invitation on a 'tip in' sheet to fit inside the invite.

To complete the invite and hold in the 'tip in' page - Lauren then added a sparkling diamante 'ring' threaded with a fine white ribbon.
